Income Eligibility

Applicants must have income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines to receive reduced fee assistance. We may be able to offer fee waivers in extreme hardship situations.

Mission Statement

Lewis County Bar Legal Aid has been a client-centered non-profit organization serving Lewis County for over 25 years.

Our mission is to provide local, accessible, client centered civil legal services to low income residents of Lewis County.


Family Law

Our services include the sale of family law packets, free legal clinics and pro bono representation for those that qualify and family law facilitator services for issues pertaining to divorce, establishing parenting plans and child support, establishing paternity, non-parental (3rd party custody), modifications of parenting plans/custody decrees and child support, contempt & emancipation.


Landlord/Tenant Issues

Evictions and/or disputes between landlords and the tenants. We offer emergency consultations, legal clinics and pro bono representation for tenants that qualify.


Lawyer Referral

This service is for issues such as: Social Security, L&I, Wills/Probate, Personal Injury and for clients that are over 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Lewis County Bar Legal Aid keeps an updated list of Lewis County attorneys that practice in these areas.
